Neste estudo, comparou-se os efeitos da melatonina aos da amitriptilina, um antidepressivo frequentemente receitado a pacientes com o problema, e aos de placebo. Para isso, os pesquisadores selecionaram 179 pessoas entre 18 e 65 anos de idade que sofriam de crises de enxaqueca, com ou sem aura, de duas a oito vezes por mês. O fato de a melatonina não ser comercializada no mercado brasileiro torna o país atrasado nesse sentido....
