Monday, 20 June 2011. Darius, Anna and Arne eating cookies and watching Mason fooling around! One week ago, we repeated last year's Pentecost. Same place, same time (well, at least same holidays), same people. This is true - even though last year, our three youngsters were still well-packed. And now, here they are - Florian (6 months), Helge (7 months) and Armin (8 months) with their proud dads:. We brought two tents, in which Arne and his dad and Anna and Kamil. Eating ice-cream always was a high-light!

It was quite a busy summer for us - visiting friends in Poland and Norway, Kamil giving a field course in South Tyrol and attending a meeting in Munich, and me and the kids staying in Austria for three weeks. Wednesday, 20 July 2011. At the Family Table. Since a few weeks, Florian sits on a high chair at our kitchen table. It feels like he is now a full member of the family having his "ancestral" place at the table! While the rest of the family is having its meals, he now eats his beloved (but truly tasteless) rice crackers or plays with a spoon - right here next to us. Monday, 24 October 2011. So far, we had a beautiful October in Potsdam! The first October weekend was still so sunny and warm that people enjoyed a last swim in the Havel and the kids played happily in the sand. Shortly after, the weather got quite chillier, but nevertheless bright and sunny - and windy! Perfect conditions for kite flying:. Thursday, 1 October 2009. Apologies for the long absence in posting on this page! We have not been in Potsdam for the last three weeks, but my laptop stayed here. Uh, no posts at all in the month of September! We have been back to Austria, then Kamil went to a conference in Cogne/Italy, and furthermore, we had a magnificent week of vacation in St.Ulrich in South Tyrol. Thursday, 17 February 2011. Uncle And Aunt CC Visiting. Uncle Christoph and aunt Claudia came for a visit last week-end. We not only profited from loads of delicious Swiss cheese they brought for Kamil's birthday but also from two more kids-entertainers! Balancing with Götti Christoph trough the Babelsberg Park:. Getting a convenient shoulder-lift from aunt Claudia after a long and strenuous walk in the park:. Helping his aunt to resolve a Sudoku riddle. Are lucky enough to catch one, too!
