Mike and Allison’s Blog. Archive for October, 2010. October 31, 2010. This weekend we traveled to Destin to visit Allison’s Great Aunt Ruby and get some sun. We arrive to perfect weather. First stop, visiting Ruby. Ruby is 105 years old this year. Say hi, Ruby! Next, we took a short drive down to Seaside, FL, a quaint beach town along the gulf. Allison stops to smell the flowers. Time for a walk along the beach. This part of Florida is known for its endless white sand beaches. Vicki searches for seashells.

It was rather damp and foggy during this year’s hike. Yeah, I’m particularly excited to be here…. Dick breaks out his cold weather gear. Allison points out some unmelted snow nearby. Some keep warm by rubbing their hands together…others prefer beer. (I’m with you on this one, Dick.). Crossing the bay heading back to Seattle.
