A little bit of everything. Avery's First Camp Out. Mike doesn't get much time off while in optometry school. So every three day weekend we try to get away. We celebrated Memorial weekend with a camp out at Boulder Basin. Avery loves the outdoors. She was captivated by the tall trees, fluttering birds, and the glowing camp fire. It was so amusing to watch her take it all in. Optical illusion of how she is sitting on this huge rock by herself, don't worry I was holding her the whole time. The Time Has Come.

To get from Isla Ometepe to the corn islands we left at 8:30 in the morning and got there the next day at 2 pm in the afternoon. Talk about a long journey! Monday, June 8, 2009. We Painted the Baby Room. We've always had a. Spare bedroom upstairs next to our room that we've intentionally left mostly empty. We've kept the ironing board, a dresser for off season clothes and the toys we use to entertain our nieces and nephews. It was the designated 'guest room' until we finished the basement and moved the spare bed downstairs. Since then it's been dubbed the 'toy room'.
