When we were near Pier One that same day eating lunch I couldn't resist visiting the Pier to see if there was anything I might need. There was no intent on using my gift card . I wanted to keep it for when there was something there the Bungalow really. Needed. Lucky Bungalow, I stumbled upon some wall jewelry that was 60% off!

I may have exclaimed "Number Five Alive! Full of great one liners. Nice software .". Anyway, yay us! We enjoyed our day by taking in the WVU Alumni Association's National Capital Area Chapter's 35th Annual Crabfeast! After the Feast at Fort Hill park in Virginia, we headed back with some friends to the Arlington's WVU -friendly bar, Ragtime.

In hopes of fixing our living room ceiling sometime when the weather is warm enough to open our windows and Mike is home to help, I've been daydreaming about lighting in there. I like this guy a lot:. That is the Tarlton Semi-Flush ceiling light found at Linens-n-Things. I like him. But Mike still wants a ceiling fan (help me talk him out of that).

Happy Anniversary to my husband of 4 years! Our first date was more than 9 years ago and we were engaged 5 years ago - how time flies! It's hard to believe that our perfect wedding day was four years ago. it seems like yesterday that I tightly held on to Dad's arm while we walked down the long staircase into the view of our family and friends below. And I will never forget the look on Steve's face as I walked up the aisle. Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple, and as a family.

First camping trip of the year. We took a long weekend camping trip this past weekend to the Williams River and had a great time! Poor Wesley came home with several bumps and scrapes - including a "big boo-boo" (as he calls it) from his first "major" accident. He fell in the camper and cut his top lip clear through. Thankfully it has already started to heal really well - and we're hoping it doesn't leave much of a scar. To Canada and back. Crossing the border at the Peace Bridge! Paula at the Falls!

Anyone care to guess? I have kept track of every pack of diapers that we've used since Wesley was born. I got an exact count when he was 4 months old, but haven't done the math since then. Soooo, anyone care to guess how many diapers Wesley will have used from birth to his 2nd birthday? The only diapers NOT included in the count are the ones used while in the hospital at his birth. Mike and Erin's Excellent Adventures. Monday, July 26, 2010. Mike and Erin vs The Volcano. Well today was a bit of an early start as we wanted to get to Naples. For our last night in Italy as well as fit in Pompeii. We had no idea what to expect but the bus ride up to the top was breathless, our tour was great and the views were stunning. We finished our trip with a glass of wine on top of an "active" volcano. we couldn't end these past 18 days any better! Italy, we came, we saw, we drank and we loved it.

Since moving into the Bungalow, Mike and I have wrestled with the idea of cutting down the cawtawba tree in our backyard. She was a bit too close for comfort and her root system was most definitely threatening our foundation. Then, in 2010, the City decided she needed an ugly haircut.
