The little's and I came down to the beach {Seaside} with my mom for a few days of sun {even though it rained on Monday}, laughter {ya, there has been plenty of that}, and fun {with a little drama thrown in}. Monday we rode our bikes for 5 miles around Seaside and up to the Cove, Tristan ate his weight in pizza and Piper insisted that we walk her around town to fall asleep. That kid amazes me. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Better late than never. We had a fabulous Christmas especially since I didn't have to work :) We enjoyed having family in town and being able to spend time with them. We started the Christmas season with the annual Fitz Family. Christmas dinner followed by a Backer Family party. Ezra really enjoyed everything that involved Christmas, especially all the lights. After I had strung the Christmas tree with lights and plugged them in, Ezra exclaimed "Oh, Wow! Papa and cousins Selah.

We started the day off with a run (at least I did :) and then rode our bikes into Portland from Gresham with my parents. It was a nice, relaxing 22 mile ride. Needless to say our butts are out of shape. Yeah, I'm glad that you NOW have at least ONE friend in Vancouver.let me pull the dagger out of my heart!

The scavenger hunt is a tradition oscar started in college, and usually, as the administrator, has not been able to participate in it. But we scaled down bring in 2008 with a much smaller group, Guys vs. Girls. The girls won by a long shot. Our teammates were Don and Sarah Jenkins and Jeremy and Tauni Farrell. I don't really have any of the guys scavenger hunt pictures because they used a phone.

No litter box accidents yet. She does have pretty stinky farts sometimes though :). Other than building a deck and planting grass we are almost done with our backyard.
