Sunday, July 26, 2009. We had so much fun at the DERBY, if anyone really knows me knows I so would have been in this if I grew up in Heber. It is so fun to watch all the cars crash and Easton Said,"Have fun guys" which mean he had fun! I think with how much Easton LOVED this we will have to go every year. Easton would put his arms around our necks and pull us together and say "Kiss Guys", then he would kiss us while we were kissing, then dance around. He is so much fun! Travis' first day "in uniform"!

Chronicles of Nana: April 2010

Saturday, April 24, 2010. A lecturer explained stress management to an audience. He held up a glass of water and asked, "How heavy is this glass? Here are some thoughts to keep in mind as you go through life:. Always keep your words soft and sweet- in case you have to eat them. Drive carefully. It is not only cars that can be "recalled" by their Maker. If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity! I am now re-reading Walden Pond by Thoreau. Here are a few of the thoughts from the first two chapters. Enjoy! To be a philosopher is not merely to have subtle thoughts, nor even to found a school, but so to love wisdom as to live according to its dictates a life of simplicity, independendence, magnanimity, and trust. All men want, not something to 'do with', but something to 'do', or rather something to 'be.'. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
