She is counting the days and remembers that Wednesday is the day she can come home! Judi’s state of alertness is improved. Katie just returned from Mexico and had not seen her Mom for a week. Katie was very impressed at the progress. It is harder to notice when seeing Judi 5 times a day! Next Sunday, February 2. I am anxious to have Judi home!

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. On our way back to Houston from San Antonio we were able to drive through Brenham, Texas. A great farm community with so many wildflowers. Here are the Texas Blue Bonnets. There were acres of them EVERYWHERE! Along with Indian Paintbrush and a wide variety of other beautiful wildflowers. There were even cows in the fields of wildflowers! Sunday, April 28, 2013. This year we were able to buy a little tree at Big Lots and even decorate it for our apartment! The Kingwood Stake has a big production each year with their Nativity Displays. It really is quite remarkable and the larger community is invited and they come! Here are some of our missionaries who help with the whole project. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. The Carter's Come to Texas! We had a beautiful day to visit the Houston Space Center! The Space Shuttle mock-up had just arrived from Florida and was fun to see. We never get tired of seeing the Saturn 5. What an amazing engineering accomplishment! Abby loves a Longhorn! This one is worth $500,000.00! This was our first experience at the Houston Zoo and we loved it! Such a beautiful zoo! The exhibits were really great. These beautiful oak trees were throughout the zoo.
