Following the birth of our first Hope Center baby, The Hope Center Ministries hosted an official inauguration and dedication of the maternity home in early December 2013. Local pastors, those involved with the original design and construction of the building as well as other like-minded members of the Greek community joined us in celebrating the goodness of the Lord in His provision for this ministry. Christ for Greece and the Nations! Sunday, May 31, 2015. MAY SWOM: HOLA - HELLO. Greetings from Costa Rica! We can't believe how much has happened already in one month. We arrived in CR and hit the ground running. We go to school every weekday for 4 hours of classes and then have tutoring and homework for the rest of the day and then it starts all over again. We have completed now one full month of classes, and have survived and passed, tests in phonetics, linguistics and grammar, only with His help!

This was her second time sitting on her own, the night before we were at a friend's house and my sister-in-law had her on the couch taking pictures, when I realized she was sitting on her own, not leaning on the couch. So, I tried it the next day at the house with some protection around her, as you can see and she did it! She wasn't quite sure what to make of it, but got the hang of it soon enough. Here she is in her Bumbo on the table in her usual spot, but this time instead of just watching mommy and daddy eat all the fun, colorful things on the table - I decided a carrot stick can't do much harm, especially this size!
