Monday, April 21, 2014. With all the things bouncing through our minds on any given day, it can be easy to somehow allow thoughts about God to sink lower and lower in our list of priorities. I've noticed this in my life, especially when things are going along pretty smoothly. When I', not in the middle of a crisis, it's much easier for me to rely on my own strength rather than turning to God for my every need. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. I've read a lot of posts on Facebook lately in which friends have shared that they are feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or confused. Many times when I read posts like these I think,. I wish I could sit and talk to this person or that person.". Wednesday, January 30, 2008. I can't believe I haven't posted an entry for an entire week. So much has happened in such a short amount of time. Nick's surgery to remove his fourth brain tumor and fifth cancerous mass went exceptionally well! Just 48 hours ago Nick was in ICU, and tonight we are in our living room doing our normal little routine! I am just amazed! Life has not always been easy, but the Bible tells us that God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts...

Although we haven't posted much news in the past several months, Nick's Foundation continues to change communities and lives every day. Recently, three more swings were purchased to place around the college campus in our small town. These swings will have plaques in memory of several kids from our town who have passed away in the past couple of years.
