Life in Pittsburgh. and after. Fun in the Snow. Feb 20th, 2007 at 11:29 PM. We just went through a really cold spell here in Pittsburgh. There were days when the temp got down to -19 deg C. Life in Pittsburgh. and after. Feb 16th, 2009 at 6:33 PM. I was watching Dan the other day as he dashed around at the playground like a pinball in a pinball machine. He came to me after a while, panting and dripping with sweat. Just what were you up to, Dan, zipping around like that? Oh, I was running out of power, so I was just recharging my batteries! I couldn't fight logic from another galaxy, so I just sighed and let him continue recharging his batteries. Are you recharging your batteries again?

Friday, March 9. Well, that meant our friends the McDonalds had girls at home in need of something to do. So, we bundled up Ben, loaded up Ben, and headed over to the local park, where we went sled riding. (Ben's first sled riding experience). Ben wasn't too sure what to make of the whole snow deal at first, but once he got his hands into it and went down the hill a couple times, he decided he loved it. Sunday, July 29. Mommy with three boys. This past week, Janelle, Ben, and I welcomed the fourth member to our family. Samuel Liam arrived on Wednesday afternoon after about ten minutes of pushing. Janelle was such a star during the labor and delivery. For Janelle, the second child was much easier than the first. She was showed, had eaten, and dressed within about two hours after Liam was born. We got to have a short family vacation during the month-long school vacations in June - although Rachel didn't end up coming along. She went to the church camp of Light of Christ (our previous parish). We went with Jon's parents to Bintan island in Indonesia, which is less than an hour's ferry ride from Singapore, and stayed at the Nirwana Beach Resort. 2 comments Leave a comment. Wednesday, February 28. And then there were 3. Boys that is. Today we had our 20 week sonogram and discovered we are having another boy. Hurrah! Speaking of little guys, Ben is walking everywhere now. He's still cruising and crawling, but he LOVES to walk.
