Monday, June 20, 2011. The photo below is from a day in Banff this past February. On this particular morning the temperature was a balmy -34 degrees C and all the gondolas and most of the lifts on the hills were closed. We stayed in town and took some pictures until it warmed up to -30 degrees and the lifts opened. It was a great but cold afternoon of skiing. June 20, 2011 at 7:20 PM. Monday, August 5, 2013. I haven't posted anything for a long time and thought it was about time that I did again. We did a trip down to San Diego in the spring and here are a few pictures of some of the critters we encountered there. Secretary Bird San Diego Zoo. Mandarin Duck San Diego Zoo.
