My husband. the sleeper. Dreaming things were easy. After all the christmas presents. And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?

I want to be a photographer when I grow up. Pittsburgh’s Two-Headed monster AND Jordan Staal. Big brother. little brother. Stuffed zucchini with greens and beans. Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT. 1lb sweet italian sausage. 4-5 cloves of garlic. 1 can white/northern beans. While zucchini is roasting, brown sweet sausage until some is browned and crispy. Slowly cook the onions, garlic, reserved-chopped zucchini flesh and tomatoes in the pan with the juices/grease from the sausage. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The Winter Classic 2011 in Pittsburgh may not have been won by the Penguins, but I certainly didn’t leave disappointed. Sitting in the second row, in the section closest to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Some of my favourite movies. Mike Slee has more than 25 years experience working in the oil and gas industry, but that's not what he really wanted to do. He's been lucky enough to live and work around the world in his career, but at the start of the journey, Mike found himself at a crossroads between writing and oil exploration. While he chose the latter as a teenager (the lure of money and travel), he never stopped wanting to pursue the former.

I literally parked the car in the middle of the road with the hazard lights on (it's a very slow neighborhood there), pulled my backpack out, mounted the camera on the tripod and shot four frames after making a judgement call on the focus and exposure.
