Texas has about withered away. This article from the weather channel shows just how bad it is in Texas and other Southern states. Another problem has been the heat with repeated highs in the upper 90s to near 100. Once again it could be worse - like Death Valley. July 2, 2011 at 9:15 PM. We desperately need rain!
