You never know until you tri. Chronically Indecisive actually committed to doing Ironman. Sunday, October 16, 2011. Yes - a slug. That is what I have become. I have been on my bike ONCE since Ironman. It was enjoyable, but I did have a completely flat back tire to start. I just pumped it up and went. I've done some minimal running - heck, minimal WALKING even! I have to have a plan. I am seriously considering joining the gym when it re-opens after the remodel. I would like to get some varied weig...I am ...

You never know until you tri. Chronically Indecisive actually committed to doing Ironman. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Ironman Wisconsin The Saga: Part Three - THE BIKE - 7:48.38. He was yelling profanities at him. I thought - chill out - you have 111 miles to go (although in actuality, they had a last minute change to the bike course and it was actually 113 miles in all). I was amazed at how chill I was. My heartrate was higher than I cared for it to be. It stayed higher for a long time. The Family was...

You never know until you tri. Chronically Indecisive actually committed to doing Ironman. Sunday, November 14, 2010. The 1st week of "preseason" has closed. I managed 2 swims, 1 bike, and 2 runs. Boy, I love to run. I actually went 6 miles today! That would be my 5th run since July, I think? It felt good and I never looked at my watch until we got done. I think the dog was happy to get some exercise and I enjoyed my time chatting with friends. Have a delightful week everyone! Links to this post. I'm sorr...

You never know until you tri. Chronically Indecisive actually committed to doing Ironman. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Gwen has her Groove Back. I have been running. I think I can safely say - I'm back. It feels so good. This morning, the dog and I ran over 6 with the sun coming up in the east (yes, I know - it always comes up in the East - shut up Robert). Glorious! I LOVE that feeling. I am not breaking any speed records, but I am happy with my pace. My legs were not even sore! Links to this post. I am hig...

Friday, March 28, 2008. The weight is coming off, as of this past Monday I am down 106.8 lbs. It feels good to be smaller. I'm learning to deal with how my body wants to shed the weight. I don't seem to lose in a contiguous fashion, but overall it is continuous. At least I feel like it is helping me run faster. Posted by Emil Von Runner. You are kicking ass. What a great inspiration. Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Monday, September 3, 2007. Slight Improvement on my 10K Time. On Saturday morning I ran the Cow Chip Classic. 10K This was an anniversary of sorts for me, as the Cow Chip Classic 5K was my very first race after I started running last summer. I decided to graduate to the 10K and take on "Heartbreak Hill" this year. I finished 165/177 overall, 100/103 for the men, and 17/17 in my age group (last again. I tried to keep up with Mike. Great I do...

http://formerlyfatrunningguy.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Day at work followed Monday's sucky. Day at work. How come the phone never rings unless I'm on a deadline? Along with that, I found out that my health insurance wasn't going to pay for some of my kid's bills leaving a few hundred for me to pay, the tickets for Deb's visit to see Paula Deen. On Sunday never arrived and they have no record of my order and an on-line payment I made on the Amex. Card never got posted from a few weeks ago. Oh yeah, and we had two uncarved. As I lo...
