Sunday, November 2, 2014. November is gratitude month. Since gratitude is an action, I will endeavor to live each day like there is no tomorrow. Mikey is a daily reminder of how precious life is, and how quickly that can change. Hug your kids, don't hold grudges, and remember today is a GIFT, that is why its called the present. June 16, 2013. Two years to the day I received a call in the middle of the night that changed the lives of my family forever. Yet, today is also Father’s Day and everything I could want, I have. That’s not to say that there aren’t still struggles, problems, and fears. But, when I look back even briefly over the last two years, I thank God at how far Meg has come and how God, through the prayers of many, has sustained us. This slideshow requires JavaScript. July 21, 2011. Another problem we are having is getting Meg outpatient therapy. We received a call from CHKD (Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters) but they said it will take a few weeks to get her in (the case manager from our insurance company thinks it might even be longer than that).
