Checked the hives on Saturday, we had a nice sunny day, a litte bit of wind and a two days before the weather was due to change. Well they were right it has changed, Today the 3d of Oct. it is raining and colder, suppose to be like this and colder for the rest of the week. I have also treated them with Bee Vital Hive Clean for the second time, I have one more treatment to do, they should be pretty much Varroa free after that.

About Me – O mne. 3d of October and 2 hives. What an absolutely amazing day it has been, … ». Lots of snow * *. The first bit of snowboarding on the 3d of December 2016, it was amazing. I don’t remember this much snow this early in the year for a long time. Going back to the snowboarding it was awesome. Really enjoyed it and the funny things was that when we started walking up the hill it felt like just yesterday when we did if before, how time flies. This entry was posted in Beekeeping.

Vratna Storm/Burka 2014

On the 21st of July we had a violent storm which created a build up of water in the mountain streams, this eventually pushed earth and rocks down onto Vratna and Terchova. The power of the floods and the damage it caused can be seen in these photos, some of the cars were carried up to 3km by the flood waters. We are still walking and taking pictures of different areas of the mountains.

About Me – O mne. Ewe-Ewe and her new lambs for 2017. I am not going to intervene, I don’t really want to Ewe-Ewe is a good ewe, and a good mother, I will give her more food and let her get on with it, she is doing a really good job and they are alwasy better when they are left on their own, they make better lambs. I will let nature take its turn. Had sunshine today and bees were flying, hazel has started to flower and so has some pussy willow. Hope they will be ok. Bees out and about. Bees were out,.

About Me – O mne. Bees out and about. Some photos from the other day. Bees were out,. We had about 10 days of blue skies and sunshine also temperatures during the day. Although I did not see them myself but Mike managed to get some photos of my bees, going out, clearing out dead bees and even investigating him while he was around the hive. Will post a picture once I get one also if there is any further news I will keep you posted. So pleased my bees are ok. Lots of snow * *. 3d of October and 2 hives.
