New Button thingies to come and chat with. Weird World War 2. Feel the will of Zola. Just a quick one today. Progress has been quite steady on the 15mm hydra army with a few units together and being painted. My major shortness in the army so far is a leader. Well I think I've solved that now. Dr Arnim Zola! Ill take some photos of the model once I get some sculpting done on it but its based on one of the GZG light evac suits. Anyway that enough for now I'd best crack on with it all :-). For quite a while...

Wirrn! by Adrian Salmon | I know what I like....

I know what I like…. Thoughts on my art collection. April 21, 2014. The Ark in Space is Classic Who at its best. The story, acting, design, pretty much everything came together to create stories that 40 years later still hold up, and can still capture the imagination of my young son. Arguably, the model shot of the Wirrn swarming at the end isn’t that effective (however, it doesn’t get the same negative press as the rat in Talons for some reason). Leave a Reply Cancel reply. I know what I like…. Thoughts on my art collection. April 23, 2014. So, here’s another Time Team from Ade, this one Marcus Scarman from The Pyramids of Mars. Again, it’s from the period when DWM were running two stories an issue, so there was only one illo per story. Fortunately (? Ade has done a great job here, making the Mummy chase a heck of a lot more dynamic than it was in the programme, and it’s a fantastic portrait of Scarman. Can you tell I. Might have to go watch Pyramids again…. Next Post →.

I know what I like…. Thoughts on my art collection. The Seeds of Doom by Adrian Salmon. May 19, 2014. The last of the stories that gave me nightmares. I first saw this story in black and white, and even now it seems funny to watch it in colour. It was on a rented TV, one of the old ones with the really big push in knobs, that came on slowly as they warmed up. Not quite valves, but not far off! 3 thoughts on “ The Seeds of Doom by Adrian Salmon. May 19, 2014 at 8:35 pm. May 19, 2014 at 8:37 pm. You are co...
