I even felt like myself again today when I managed to take them both to the aquarium by myself. As we were getting ready to leave I overheard Matthew saying, "Mason. Fishies. Sharks. Sting rays. Fun! Meeting for the first time. So excited he's here! We love all of the dark hair. Just hanging out with Mom.

Thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned on the way. Monday, October 24, 2011. Leaves, Hats, and Smiles. The leaves are changing colors right now and it is beautiful. I love the leaves changing, but it also means the giant tree in our front yard looses it's leaves and makes a huge mess. Last week I looked outside and saw a bunch of little boys from our street with toy rakes trying to rake the leaves. It was so cute and thoughtful of them! I think Matthew looks so cute in his little hat! We sure love it.

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. We haven't had a stellar snow season this year, but that didn't stop us from going skiing! Had to celebrate, of course, since I LOVE pie. This year, I made mini chocolate cream pies in these cute blue ramekins I got a while ago. They turned out really yummy! I love pi day. C and I had a fun little beauty night. She bought a fun new purple nail polish. Its the color of the season! I think that C liked it more than I did.but it still turned out kinda cool. Outside it is so nice!

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. We had a very fun Halloween celebration this year. On the Friday before Halloween our ward had a Halloween party with some delicious chili. We went decked out in our costumes and had a great time. Our ward had a pretty good costume turn out. One of my favorites was this homeless guy. You can't really tell from the picture, but he had about 3 ft of junk hanging off his back. He had hub caps, flags, trash bags, etc. It was impressive! Matt and Rachel Bowden. The Loss of Tiki.
