Mildew has attacked some of them especially the older ones with cardboard covers. There has been a general cull with several thrown away as just too dog-eared or missing pages. The Dorade box and funnel from outside. The skippers plan of how it works. The Dorade ventilation box was originally built in 1929 by Olin Stephens who was an American yacht designer.
