Warning: picture-heavy post; not sure how the type will wrap, so, sorry in advance.). The entire experience seemed to flow past me so very quickly that I was swept away in it all like a leaf in a stream, riding along, taking it all in until I was deposited at last on the shore. Many folks claim knitting is relaxing, however I must add that, in my opinion, the only time knitting is relaxing is when the project is working out the way you want it to. My Book is a Lake | Tom Schabarum | Writer

My Book is a Lake. April 25, 2015. I take pleasure when my barber vacuums my head after my first haircut, tasting my first Baja Taco, my first sip of decaf coffee, avocados. Everything seems new. My book is a lake I walk along every day. Sometimes it’s a mirror, others it is a place I could drown in. Today the sun halos my dog’s muzzle as he runs the trail ahead of me and then looks back as if to say, c’mon, there is more to see. Leave A Comment →. April 25, 2015. April 26, 2015. April 26, 2015.
