http://christinaspensamientos.blogspot.com/2009/07/big-stone-gap-movie.html
Big Stone Gap- The Movie? What in the world is taking so long? I read this book years ago and loved it. If you haven't had the pleasure, I highly encourage you to take the journey into Big Stone Gap. There are 3, maybe 4, books in the series and also the author, Adrianan Trigiani, has written some other similar books. Anyway, she has also written a screenplay and they are working at casting people who are true to the characters, the location, etc. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). For my future husband!

Christina's Pensamientos: March 2007
http://christinaspensamientos.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
We had Friday off as compensation for working extra on weekends in February. I wanted to go to the beach, but alas, it was not meant to be, so I stayed in my PJs. All day long and read a fun book.all day long. I could not put it down and I could not go to bed until I finished! I don't get to read for pleasure as much as I would like, so I was determined! Big Stone Gap. I am inspired. I think it was about me, actually. I'm gonna get lucky at 35! That will be my year? The more I watch. It cracks me up!

Yeah, I love a good deal! First of all, I wanted to update you all on the job hunt. Still hunting. Have sent out many resumes. Abstinence programs run on grant funding and thus can not just go about hiring as they wish. So, it looks like I may have to volunteer with one for a while if that is the route I wish to explore. I have applied for a teaching job in Wenatchee. HS Social Studies. I can still use my Spanish! I have also applied for a Student Ministries. Coordinator for a Semester. They are making a...

3 Girls, 1 Dog, 2 Cats.Oh My! The trials and times of an ordinary mom trying to make a difference in her kids' lives. Sunday, March 14, 2010. There are so many things that my mom taught me in the short time she was here. I find myself raising my kids a lot like she raised me, although at the time, I thought "I'll never tell my kids they can't date until they are 16", or "I'll never make my kids do all the chores my mom made me do! Mom, I miss you and love you still so much. Posted by Midwest Mama. Nearly...

3 Girls, 1 Dog, 2 Cats.Oh My! The trials and times of an ordinary mom trying to make a difference in her kids' lives. Monday, January 17, 2011. I was looking through my computer, and found other things that I have yet to catch up with on here. So this post is dedicated to my Grandma Marilyn, who went to be with Jesus on Thanksgiving. She died with her hand in mine, and I'm truely glad she wasn't alone and I was with her and the last person she was with before JESUS! How awesome is that! Then there were t...
