It has been two years since we last went to one of our very favorite spots in Mexico, Casa Ninamu. The biggest downside of Sayulita being so busy these days is it that it’s increasingly more difficult to book Casa Ninamu. Luckily, owners Johann Ackerman and Anne Menke seem to anticipate what you need before you need it. Not only have they added a couple rooms at their main outpost, TeiTiare Estates. See the World Beautiful. Our Little Town in Mexico. Stay: Casa Ninamu Revisted. Check In: Coqui Coqui.

Or am I just posting what I think I should? Am I being consistent? Am I posting regularly? Am I actively pursuing the original theme and intention for this space? 8221; ANSWER TO ALL: Not, really. With that in mind – rough hewn. And I will...

Friday, May 16, 2008. It's always a wonderful thing when you find that your day job affords you the opportunity to make new work. You stop yourself in the midst of it all and think to yourself, “I’m totally getting paid to do what I love right now! 8221; And you smile and continue on, forgetting about all the other days you aren’t able to do this. Bad Design Blog: March 2009
http://baddesignblog.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. If you squint, it looks sort of like Homer Simpson. Danish designer Ole Jensen. May have surpassed Jason Miller. In the race to design the world's ugliest chair. It's like a giant brain with erect, nubby nipple arms. Jensen claims it was not designed with style or function in mind (we could tell), but memory: "we all have special objects that refresh memories – things that have a meaning and create the pleasure of recognition". No Just no. Babies are creepy enough as it is. Is th...

Inner dialogue of a distracted dilletante. Wunderkind in the Wunderkammer. August 13, 2009 in Life. I apologize for the blog-silence. I don’t really have much of an excuse aside from the fact that I’ve been working a bunch and when I get home the last thing I want to do is listen to my loud PC hum at me while I wait for programs to load. This weekend I am headed to the GWN (The Great White North! One of the other things I’d like to do, rain or shine, is collect wonderful Yukon-ey stuff for my big c...
