He discovered things like golf and tee ball and now is turning every object in our house into a bat and ball. Nothing says summer like the bounty of raspberries from my parents house. A year ago today we got on a plane in Baku and flew all the way around the world to Washington DC. I can't believe we've been back state-side for a whole year. The time has flown by, but so much has happened. We got to have a paid 'vacation' (including, but not limited to museums, landmarks, memorials and free surgery - yay Peace Corps!

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Happy Birthday, Henry! We were invited to Henry Stubbert's 5th birthday on Wednesday, April 13th, 2011. His party was at Chuck E. Cheese, and we had a lot of fun (I mean, who doesn't have fun at Chuck E. Cheese? Happy Birthday, Henry! We had some pizza and played lots of games. January 10th the Willamette River flooded Alton Baker park. It was insane! It was life altering! It's happened for the past 140 years! Anyhoo.we ate lunch at McMenamins and took a walk down to the park afterward and did some goofing around. She's sitting on the flooded park bench! Like anyone would ever sit on a flooded bench!
