Mill Road Festive Lights. A celebration of our community. In 2013-14, we worked with Cambridge artist Susie Olczak to create an interactive and light-based art project for the community. In 2014, Susie worked with the residents of the sheltered housing scheme at Ditchburn Place to make an illuminated sign for the switch on event. Mill Road Festive Lights. A celebration of our community. The lights are usually switched on around mid-November and we like to find a local community member to do the switching on. The Big Switch On event includes food, music and activities for kids. The 2015 Switch-on event was on Saturday, 14 November.
