Monday, June 2, 2008. It has been a month since I last blogged. I was really tired and have been sleeping a lot. The reason is . I am expecting. A miracle baby – our prayers are finally answered. =). My family and relatives are happy and excited. My grandma will be promoted to great-grandma. Grand-uncles and aunties to great-grand uncles and aunties. Parents and In laws will get to become first time grandparents. Uncles and aunties will receive new ranks – great uncles and aunties. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

Sunday, April 6, 2008. Today is MHI's prayer meeting. It is held every first Sunday of the month. Where volunteers and deaf friends gather to pray together as a ministry. We will enter into a time of silence. Next, we will be divided into different groups. In each group, all will share their personal prayer requests and thanksgiving. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. It is time for some updates. I am now 5.5 mths pregnant. My tummy has grown slightly bigger. But not that obvious yet. Not many give up their seats for me. One has to scrutinize me closely on one MRT trip. To see if I am really pregnant or just fat. Before giving up a seat. My colleagues commented that I maintain quite well. Though my face is little rounder, I do not look very bloated or pregnant. Mm, that's a good sign. The suggested weight gain during pregnancy is 10 to 12kg.

Monday, May 5, 2008. There is a saying - The way to a man's heart is through cooking. I picked up cooking after I got married. Just a few simple dishes. My hubby loves my cooking. But he loves my grandma's cooking more. My grandma is a Peranakan. She whips many delicious peranakan dishes. Prawn sambal, Bakwan Kepiting (Crabmeat ball soup),. Kim Chye soup (Duck with salted Vegetable soup),. Belachan (Fragrant Shrimp Paste), etc. She simply refuses to tell me the recipes for difficult dishes.

Wednesday, July 15, 2009. I did not do very well in my composition back in secondary school. Nor the long written answers / essays in exams. I am surprised I could create a blog and write. When I wrote first few entries, I received few comments. My aunty, sister and a colleague gave similar comments. Your writing style is good. Keep on writing.". You write very well.". I was very elated to hear from them, especially my aunty and sister. Both of them are teachers! Or rave how cute my son is (hehe!
