Mike and I, along with 1000 other people, had lunch today in Dallas with Sarah Palin! 160;She spoke about 20 minutes and was great! 160;She talked about our country and her hopes for it, and her family and the economy, etc.  . The luncheon was started by Chuck Swindoll, who said the prayer.  Who prays anymore at anything like that? 160;I was very impressed.  When she concluded her talk, she said she listens to him in Alaska on her way to work in her truck! 160;I LIKE her.

Monday, September 21, 2009. Our whole family went to Comfort, Texas, the end of August for vacation. Well, it was very quiet and pretty and nearly an hour from the nearest Sonic! He doesn't look like a baby anymore; he looks like a little boy now! Our sons, now 32 and 28, were talking about how one of the most fun they did during childhood, was playing in a pile of dirt. Monday, May 17, 2010. Mike wanted to go see the space shuttle launch and there aren't many more left. So off we went to Florida. The launch day started at 4:30. We left at 5 and met the bus at Titusville at 7 in the Kmart parking lot. This is all true! They drove us to Kennedy center and we looked there for about an hour.
