New year, new generation. January 16, 2014. A new year brought a new title for me…grandma! I know, I’m still struggling with the fact that my daughter is old enough to be married let alone old enough to be a mom! Saturday, June 26, 2010. 2010 – Finish #7 – Out of Africa. The fabric comes from Africa and both I and the recipient are originally from South Africa and now living in North America. 20 days from start to finish …… I really could easily have had it done in 2 weeks. The blocks came together quickly and after settling on a block quilting pattern which needed no marking, that part also went quickly. It is 82 x 82” and a nice size for a queen or double bed.
