Signed, sealed and ready to be delivered. 2012: Renew →. Christmas in my heart. December 13, 2011. How we got from Thanksgiving to twelve days before Christmas I couldn’t tell you. Come about the beginning of this month, I realized that I had better get moving on my Christmas shopping (remember the days when I’d have it all done before Thanksgiving? Ahhh…) or there would be no gifts for under that tree. Thankfully, my husband has stepped up to the plate and has wrapped just about everything. I diligently...

New year, new generation. March 19, 2014. Yes, it’s been awhile but then that seems to be the trend, right? It’s been a long winter, but a good winter. I know…from the girl that use to hate winter! I am ready for spring though, so don’t panic. A little quilting has been happening, and I’m waiting on a rug hooking pattern as well. As far as decorating (oh yes, it’s an ongoing thing with me. Fun! Be a blessing…! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). You are commen...

New year, new generation. January 16, 2014. A new year brought a new title for me…grandma! I know, I’m still struggling with the fact that my daughter is old enough to be married let alone old enough to be a mom! Little Miss Dulcie arrived safe and sound on December 21 and I adore the little squirt! Me…a grandma. Huh. Posted in making memories. 7 thoughts on “ new year, new generation. Quite Quilted: April 2010

Saturday, April 24, 2010. Have any of you played Bingo at your Quilt Guild? If you haven't, I can absolutely recommend it for a great evening of fun and it can also turn into a very productive game as well. This is what we did at our Guild Meeting last week. This is the 2nd time we’ve played and the blocks from the first time were made up into 6 or 7 quilts and donated to. I do believe that Dorothy Ley Hospice will be getting the quilts from this game as well. Posted by Doodlebug Gail. I used flannel shi...

Quite Quilted: June 2010
http://quite-quilted.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. 2010 – Finish #7 – Out of Africa. The fabric comes from Africa and both I and the recipient are originally from South Africa and now living in North America. 20 days from start to finish …… I really could easily have had it done in 2 weeks. The blocks came together quickly and after settling on a block quilting pattern which needed no marking, that part also went quickly. It is 82 x 82” and a nice size for a queen or double bed.
