It's not the kind of thing most people care to spend their time on. None of the grandkids. Have pets (I'm told hamsters don't count) but both sets of GKs. Grandmas with dogs. I invited some of the GKs. Over to help me and to make some treats for their doggie. Friends at other Grandmas houses. 2 cups whole wheat flour.

Sunday, March 29, 2009. A couple of weeks ago I found a great recipe for Chocolate Mint Cupcakes. Tomorrow, all of the Moms-In-Touch groups in our school district are taking goodies to the district office. I made one batch of chocolate mint and one batch of lemon. In the recipe the cupcakes are from scratch, but why do that when a cake mix is just as good! I made the batter according to the box directions. To the chocolate batter, added 1 1/2 teaspoons. Not regular mint) extract. 1 stick butter, softened.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. Megan's social studies teacher assigned her class a book report for Black History Month. Meg's book had to be at least 200 pages. After she read the book, she was to do an original book report. No papers, no dioramas, no poster boards. The assignment was to "wow" her teacher. Her book was called. Hidden in Plain View. A little of this and that. Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Giving is just as good as receiving. I had so much fun participating in the Sassy Flirty Apron Swap hosted by Shawnee and Lucy. Friday, April 15, 2011. A couple months ago I put a kick me sign on my dad's back and he didn't even know until I told him! I wonder if anyone kicked him or not? I still like to do that but my dad knows when I put it on. It is really fun to do! You guys should do it to your dad IF you live with him.
