Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Lovely August and peaches and more peaches. Lovely August is almost over.Celebrating a 'big' birthday, lovely summer evenings on the back porch with beautiful sunsets and enjoying peaches and more peaches. I drive a few miles to a local farmer and buy peaches he grows. What we have not been eating fresh, or give away, I freeze on parchment paper, sliced and peeled, and put into zip-loc bags. To be used in the winter with cereal, yogurt or in fruit cobblers. Links to this post.
