I recently read a book entitled Extras. By Scott Westerfield. The premise behind the story is a fictional city where the economy is based on fame. Those who are famous receive all of their needs and wants for free. Those who are not must work for their living. So, in order to raise fame, they post articles to their feeds (or blogs), in order to receive pings (or hits) to raise their fame. No overly emotional posts. (I miss my girlfriend so much .). I'm wrapped up in a couple of TV shows on Monday nights. I don't tend to watch a lot of live TV, since I prefer seeing a lot of episodes back-to-back, but there are two shows that have really captured my attention. Video Games and Family. Video games are a huge part of my life. They have been since I was 7, and a NES system entered our house with a cartridge of Super Mario 3. My family was split over video games the way way most families were back then; the kids loved them, the parents not so much. My mother kept telling me how awesome BurgerTime. My family that I grew up in had video games, but just us kids played together. My wife and I play now, and will definitely be playing with our daughter in a few years...

Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Today was my first day at Viewmont High School! It went so much better then I thought it would. I think I am gong to really like it there. Now to just get use to the longer classes and the bell schedule and we should be fine. My feet really hurt because of all the running around I did but that's ok. I even got two com tickets to their musical they are doing starting this week. I am way excited! My last day at Millcreek Jr. High was yesterday! Thursday, February 16, 2012.
