So i've been recently intrigued by this indie author. i found her while looking for cheap nook books(yes i got a nook color for christmas and am in love with it) and i've become completely hooked on her. I searched her out online to get a feel for what kind of an author she was. she's 26 years old with no literary awards. no bachelors degree. no special connections to the literary world. no marketing tactics. (sound familiar? I don't know why i'm so fascinated.

Okay i had read lots and lots of things about it before it came out. like how this author had a 7 figure book deal and 8 different publishing companies battled out for the manuscript. and i'm pretty sure she's mormon. with that kind of hype who wouldn't feel like it was supposed to be the next big thing and absolutely completing fabulous? If you know me, you know i LOVE the happily ever afters. i love rainbows and sunshine and butterflies because honestly there are enough depressing stories in real life, but man oh man.i just finished a sequel to if i stay. Stood strongly on its own and when i heard there was a sequel- -where she went. A year ago today. A year ago today I lost you. Though I had only known you for about a month I cherished you. I loved you with all that my heart knew how. A day in charleston. This last trip we went with kim and another family friend, sarah and decided to try one of the haunted tours. (which definitely is not normally my kind of thing) but i sucked it up and said i'd be a team player. yeah that was until we pulled up to the old charleston county jail where our tour would take place. I don't know why but turning 24 was a hard one for me. i still feel like a 16 year old trapped in a 24 year olds body. i know i'm still young, but i already wanna know where my life went! I think ryan could see my unease for this birthday so he planned a little getaway for us to ponte vedra, fl. he woke me up at 8:00 am on feb 12 and said we've gotta go! Tuesday, April 14, 2015. On march 28th i competed in the south mountain classic. It is a 20k {12.4 miles} up and down the hills of south mountain. Since i am doing the santa barbara/wine country half marathon in may. I thought it would be a good training run. When i arrived, there were a large handful of serious runners. I questioned my sanity at that moment}. Then these runners began talking about the hills on this course. Hills like, lots of hills. I really questioned my sanity}. He is truly amazing.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Pictures of my wonderful kids Kayden and Brody. Kayden is 3 yrs. old and Brody is 2 months! Wednesday, January 6, 2010. I am new at this one of my cousins let me know about it. Now its time to figure it out! I love him so much! Ok enough of that) I enjoy doing crafts such as scrapbooking, hand painting or something simple as making hand puppets with my son. There is nothing like hands on activities, it so much more fun than buying it already done. Does that make sense?
