Eating My Way Back. Some healthy meals and a few splurges. Thursday, March 31, 2011. I found this recipe on the back of an Ortega Taco Shells box. It is delicious and I only changed a few things to make it more healthy and kid-friendly. 1 pound ground turkey. 1 bottle mild taco sauce. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1 1/2 cups 2% cheddar cheese (or mexican blend). 12 hard taco shells. 1 Preheat oven to 375. 2 Brown turkey and drain excess fat. 5 Pour half of meat mixture on top of shells. Right out of the pan.
