Thursday, March 15, 2012. Really struggling to get myself moving in the mornings with the bike. Just so much preparation with lights, Garmins, clothing etc. Wish daylight saving would hurry up and end. And as a result, I'm finding it hard to be consistent with the cycling, and hence the fitness is suffering also. But this ride wasn't too bad. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Another 30km TT experiment. A bit more exploration today as I wasn't feeling strong enough to give the ride a decent effort. So just tooled around the 30km TT course I'd played with last week, making a few adjustments to avoid Sherwood Road (the land of many kangaroos). Friday, March 30, 2012. After a couple of lunch-time swims this week and trying to body-surf the waves at the Town Green sandbar, I took the ski out today instead. There was a good crowd of swimmers there today, about 10 all up, and they swam out with me to the channel markers in the river proper rather than up the back-channel.
