I can't believe no-one told the Thing Monthly. It came from the house of tat formerly known as FabComedy.net. And the man who literally put the 'F' into FabComedy.net. Has a (quite sweary) blog here. V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Friday, November 03, 2006. Your first NaNo excerpt. Per Ardua ad Chipping Sodbury. Wayne sat back in his seat looking out at the clear sky ahead of them, fingers tapping to the thumping beats of the stereo. Asked someone from behind him. As Wayne turned to accept the cigarette, he noticed the person next to him picking away at the sun visor. Will you stop that? But my name’s not Tracey, the man protested. Are you getting this?

V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Friday, November 25, 2005. For the time being, volume 2 of the Old Testament Space Opera series is being shelved in its current embryonic stage. I will come back to it; I remain convinced it is a good idea. The trouble is, I have so many ideas, and so little time. And I know many of these ideas are good ones: one such follows a similar basic premise to. Posted by UKSteve @ 11:39 am. V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Thursday, February 09, 2006. Not withstanding the fact that, being on the opposite side of the Atlantic to most of the major Christian fiction publishers, my market tips are so out of date as to be pretty much useless, one thing is becoming clearer. We will be moving away from both time travel and science fiction, as the Christian market has not responded well to these genres. Well, I can wait. Posted by UKSteve @ 10:06 am.

Of course, whose fate appears to be in the balance following the Richard Hammond's jet car crash. Hopefully fears that the show will be axed will come to nothing; it's not unreasonable to postpone the show while the Hamster recovers. I don't want to lose Top Gear. Jeremy Clarkson. V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Well I was going to crack on with 'The Sequel', but I can't bring myself to write it knowing that it won't have a title in 30 days time. I know it's not that important, but it's a psychological thing for me. Plus, I reckon the only way I can get near 50k words in a month is by not taking it even remotely seriously, so I'm going to do a comic fantasy type thing. Hey, it might even be funny.

V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Monday, August 14, 2006. I just came across this website. Seriously, I have lamented the loss of flying Vulcans and Lightnings here before, but here's one icon of flight and British engineering that it's not too late to save. Not yet. I won't blather on about how criminal it was to retire the fleet before time. Go visit the website, let someone else do it. Sign the petition. I wish them well. I hope they succeed.

v=u+at and Other Tall Stories: NaNo update
http://jetsetwonko.blogspot.com/2006/11/nano-update.html
V=u at and Other Tall Stories. Musings on Minis, music and miscellaneousness. Friday, November 24, 2006. There's been a lot going on this week, so I haven't had time to work on it, or blog, or anything much, really. My word count when real life forced me to abandon it was a measly 21,062. I don't think I can make up that shortfall in less than a week, however hard I try. Still, I like the way the story went; it almost has potential. But there is one little problem.
