Friday, 24 February 2012. I made this scene last week for the birth announcement card of my friends' baby boy. It's full of personal touches - for example the football strip of our local team. And references to music etc. Some of you might know that I'm expecting my first child as well - basically any minute now! So I will close my Etsy shop. I got a bit bored with 18mm, it happens. I saw the Front Rank 28mm reinforcement packs and thought I’d paint up some British peninsula figures. I must say I really like them, they don’t take that much longer than 18mm. Here’s my first efforts, I will do some more pictures when I finish the unit. I had done this before in 28mm but I’m not sure how it will work in 18mm. Not quite finished, I haven’t painted the pom-poms yet. I always leave the Pom poms until the figures are based up. About making and collecting dollhouses, dolls and miniatures in almost all scales. Saturday, November 1, 2014. This is the third kitchen I made so far. The first was the kitchen of my dollhouse. I made as a present for one of my sisters. Then one day I saw this shelf. At a miniature fair and fell in love with at once. I bought it of course, knowing I had no use for it at that time.
