One of the most anticipated events of our year is the arrival of Painted Lady caterpillars from Insectlore. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a good picture as it was so tucked away and I didn’t want ...That even...

Playing and learning from home. Reggio Emilia Inspired Provocations. A week in the Bear House – Day 1 – Tuesday. A lovely blogger I follow is writing a detailed account of a week in her Home Educating week. It is such a good idea, I had to copy it! With her permission, of course! Here is a link. And here is ours!

Playing and learning from home. Reggio Emilia Inspired Provocations. It is the end of the school term. All over the UK school children will go home for a long summer break today, some have already begun. But for us, and many other home educating families, day to day life will hardly change at all. That is what I feel I have taken from our first year ‘officially’ home edu...It’...
