http://chrisandabbie.blogspot.com/2009/07/youchien-summer-festival.html
Friday, July 31. This past weekend was the Youchien (Kindergarten) Summer Festival. It was so much fun and so unbelievable to see all of the amazing-ness of the Youchien teachers. They put so much work into making it an amazing event! The English teachers had a booth of face painting, which was so great, the kids loved it! Unfortunately no pictures of that since we were both working. But here are LOTS of pictures from the fun day! More Summer Yukatas - this is Katherine and her teacher. Click on the pict...

Folk Pop Concert 2010 | Chris & Abbie
https://chrisandabbie.wordpress.com/2010/10/24/folk-pop-concert-2010
Tokyo in a Day. Folk Pop Concert 2010. October 24, 2010 by chrisandabbie. Like last year, some of our teammates sang in our town’s Folk Pop Concert. They really seemed to have a lot of fun and the Japanese people always enjoy the English songs (. I especially love the worship songs. I didn’t join in but went to watch and they did a great job! I know this one is dark, but I think it's fun how excited Chis and Rebekah look! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

Undokai 2010 | Chris & Abbie
https://chrisandabbie.wordpress.com/2010/10/24/undokai-2010
Laquo; Tokyo in a Day. October 24, 2010 by chrisandabbie. Every school in Japan has a “Sports Day” (Undokai) once a year. The kids wear their athletic outfits and run races. At the Kindergarten it should be called “Extreme Sports Day” – the three, four and five year olds run races, do dances, and do gymnastics routines. It’s quite impressive! The kids are so cute so we have a lot of pictures…I kind of had a hard time picking some to share so here’s a few…. Four year old race. More from gym class. You are...

Keeping Our House Afloat: Sledding!
http://thebukowski5.blogspot.com/2010/02/sledding.html
Keeping Our House Afloat. Thursday, February 25, 2010. We went to this awesome retaining pond in mount prospect to go sledding with some friends. We let Addie go down with her friend "red". It was hilarious, as soon as they took off she feel back onto his lap and he had to steer and guide the sled down, there was a group of people at the bottom and he totally managed to avoid them! No pictures of that though. It was a great time. He did not like his snow suit. Posted by The Bukowski's.

Chris & Abbie: Tokyo: Saturday & Sunday
http://chrisandabbie.blogspot.com/2009/08/tokyo-saturday-sunday.html
Tokyo: Saturday and Sunday. Thursday, August 6. So for our first vacation we decided it was only fitting to head to Tokyo. We went for 4 days/3 nights and I'd say that was a great amount for the first time. Tokyo was lots of fun, it was great to be in a city again and feel the urban-ness, eat delicious food and experience a new city. But boy is that town crazy! But don't worry we found them - they were all in the train stations! We had so much fun though, exploring and seeing lots of things! SATURDAY: We...
