We have been working with the infants at Ashleigh and are creating a choir. They have been learning some singing techniques and are having lots of fun playing musical games! My name is Michelle Lowe. Thank you for your interest in my Minimusic classes! My goal is to help children to have early, positive experiences with music! I will be teaching children ages 2-6 the fundamentals of music. I will be altering the curriculum that is designed for 4-6-year-olds to ALSO give 2- and 3-year-olds an opportunity to have positive experiences with music. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade have music class twice a week for 40 minutes. Students in fifth grade choose between general music and instrumental music and receive instruction twice a week for 40 minutes. In addition, students in fourth and fifth grade may participate in the Wood Creek Choir, which rehearses once a week for 40 minutes.
