Friday, August 20, 2010. I feel like I have a choice. Not between the sadness or the glee but between an acceptance I can understand. I used to think it was between allowing myself to feel sad or not but it’s too difficult that way. It is so tiring lying everyday. I just can’t be a brick wall anymore. I am sad though, because it’s over. Because the thing is, we are all just people (please save the clichéd sighs of agreement). Trying so hard to just do that thing called ‘happiness’. 365 days a year.

That it is not a tangible thing; so this scramble to keep this perceived power is just a construct. So if I have more power, it doesn't mean that you have less. So that one day the scars of this. Monday, January 26, 2009. I know I'm not writing from India (or somewhere else as cool) but this is my way of keeping in touch - without creep book! I am also aware that my parents and the supertutor. Are the only people that check this, so enjoy! It was my mummy's birthday this weekend (and my dads last Monday. So I came home to celebrate and brought three big presents - and a lot of wine! I made them pose. I think they are. To look uncomfortable. Grrrr. Kristin came over and created a pizza miracle!

Monday, July 13, 2009. From Fringers to Folkies! Only ten days overdue.I am going to update you all from the time we stepped foot in Regina to my current position in Winnipeg. Winnipeg (which is where I currently am) is lovely! We are staying with Signi and Company ( her lovely family) who by the way is Kristin's cousin. We have been crashing here while we Folk Fested our way through the weekend! Thanks for listening folks ( ha ha ) and I'll see you on my next adventure. Our first stop in Saskatoon.
