Saturday, February 26, 2011. We watched the movie "Despicable Me" last night. It started out a little slow, but by the end it certainly packed a punch, and it's message was clear- to me at least! Getting along with others- making peace- loving others, no matter who they are- is child's play. Not so with children! Is a demand given indiscriminately. "Read me a bedtime story," is not a request reserved for a certain few. Children have so much to teach us about loving and living! Sunday, February 20, 2011.

I have heard complaints about how few people there are in worship spaces all across this land on summer weekends. But surely if we have been given this creation, is it not right that we spend what time we can enjoying it? Should we not be at the lake fishing or swimming or just communing with the sun? Monday, January 16, 2012. Why can't everyone just think like I do? I sometimes wonder. "It would make things so much easier! Sometimes I'm so convinced that I'm right: I have worked out the situation ever-so logically and methodically, and I know the best answer to a question; the best way to do this or that; the belief that makes the most sense. But, others either disagree, or ignore me. Imagine! This is particularly notable with my 20-something children. Why can't they just see it/do it like I do?
