Why not try and make a plan and then stick to it? The making of a plan. Fabric with a plan. Three pieces of stash fabric every month. Considering my personal sewing record (I think it was 80 items during 2011), I am not overly concerned about not being able to sew all of this in six months, but I do wary the need for eighteen new garments in my wardrobe. Some things, like for instance a couple of new special occasion dresses, are clearly gone missing. Sewing with a plan. The need for a garment like that.

Refashion Co-op: EDITORS
http://refashionco-op.blogspot.com/p/editors.html
The Refashion Co-op is run collectively by a group of editors that take turns to moderate the blog. Each day, an editor will check the posts, make sure the links work correctly, and delete offensive language or anything inappropriate. Not that we think you would do a thing like that! The editors do not proofread your posts for grammar or spelling errors - they just make sure the posts are appropriate and everything looks OK. If you have any questions, please email the Editor on Duty at. A slight nod to a...

Vintage Style for Kids. What would you do with 2 hours extra a day? September 10, 2014. If suddenly you had 2 hours extra per day, 2 hours that had previously been taken up with something unavoidable but dull…such as commuting…what would you do with it? Clean the house more? Or even at all). Veg in front of the television? Read lots of books! Spend time with your family? Exercise away the excess fat that comes with a years comfort eating and drinking plus being over 40? All of the above? December 23, 201...

Marianne Dress x 3! July 10, 2015. Sewing for my Sis. Hope you’re all having a great day! It’s funny… now that I’ve got a couple of frustrating projects behind me, I feel so free and easy and I’ve been so productive! It’s such a bad feeling when your creativity is all bottled up after a few failures, so it’s nice to shake loose of that and just happily make things again! This is the Christine Haynes. And thought they would be a quick sew, so I grabbed the pattern and went to work! The pattern is a breeze...

Evadress Coquette Blouse Ca 1928 | Atelier Fargo
https://atelierfargo.wordpress.com/2011/10/28/me-made-march-15
A little home sewing on the prairie. Evadress Coquette Blouse Ca 1928. An older picture* of the same Evadress B20-53 Ladies’ Coquette Blouse, circa 1928. I love the really crisp criss-cross of the ties, at least when they are laying right. I did have to improvise on this one though, I must admit, and I am not at all certain I got it right. Now I love Evadress patterns, company, Alexandra, her blog. Evadress Coquette 1928 Blouse. Shown with trousers from Evadress SE30-1210 4-Piece Tuxedo Ensemble, circa 1...

Me-Made-May-12: the story so far | Atelier Fargo
https://atelierfargo.wordpress.com/2012/05/11/me-made-may-12-the-story-so-far
A little home sewing on the prairie. Me-Made-May-12: the story so far. We are well into the only Me-Made/Self-Stitched event of 2012, and the first such event since I’ve had a blog! So, while most of the pieces I’m wearing are repeats to as far as MMM/SSS is concerned, I’ve never posted about them here. I’ve also been trying to keep things more lively this time around by finding more interesting locations to take outfit pictures. In hand is McCalls M6084. Also pictured at top. Top is 70s Butterick 6835.

gran plumley: June 2012
http://granplumley.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 June 2012. Welli've been a bit busy with a bit of this, that and the other recently. It was Clutter City on Saturday.the weather was nice so that meant we didn't have many people coming inside to browse.shame, but i don't blame them.if i hadn't had a stall i would probably have been heading out the city too. This is a rather lovely brooch made by Canny Belle who had a stall at Clutter City.i love it.and it seems very apt with the weather at the mo. Have a good one folks. Friday, 15 June 2012.
