VelociPete: Stereophonic High Fidelity
http://velocipete.blogspot.com/2013/05/stereophonic-high-fidelity.html
There is no normal. There's only you and me." - Willie Nelson. Monday, May 20, 2013. Last week when taking daughter to her violin lesson I noticed a house with a Sold sign and various pieces of furniture on the lawn. I gave it a quick gander (old habits from Moorhead fix up/clean up week die hard) but didn't notice anything special. After the lesson, I took a closer look and then told daughter "We're going back." Mixed in among the end tables and whatnot was this beauty of a Magnavox. This is so cool!

Excerpts from a Coffee-Soaked Mind: Coffee-Soaked Awards - Week of November 9, 2009
http://coffee-soaked.blogspot.com/2009/11/coffee-soaked-awards-week-of-november-9.html
Friday, November 13, 2009. Coffee-Soaked Awards - Week of November 9, 2009. Welcome back for more awards. We're still mulling over what to do Monday-Thursday, but it seems like the awards are here to stay. So sit back and enjoy. We get it. Sometimes, people just need to try and find someone to sleep with. And, well, when you aren't in a committed relationship, it can be difficult to do so, which is often where the booty call comes into play. Just don't call 911. Why not stage one. A Real Doll Award.

Paul Douglas Updated Forecast: Pothole season comes early...
http://pauldouglasforecast.blogspot.com/2010/02/pothole-season-comes-early.html
Paul Douglas Updated Forecast. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Pothole season comes early. Praying for a gradual thaw. The latest flood forecast has been released by NOAA. There is a better than 50/50 chance of "major flooding" from St. Paul to Hastings and Red Wing. The odds of major flooding in Fargo? Good news for commuters. Bad news for snow-loving kids of all ages. I know. It's a little strange. Unusual, but not unprecedented. As I wrote last week, rain/ice is becoming more frequent during ...Close but...

Citizen: April 2007

Future Home of Henry Rifle. Friday, April 13, 2007. I (heart) Don Henley. First of all, what's going on here? Anyway, back to Don Henley. As my blogging chum Rand noted, Mr. Henley also wrote (and sang). A little song I wrote back in the early 80's. Maybe you've heard of it, it's called. The Boys of Summer. I'd have done that a little differently. And that, too. And God saying,. I know you would have, Don. I know you would have. Posted by Citizen at 9:31 AM. Links to this post. Thursday, April 12, 2007.

Paul Douglas Updated Forecast: Snow: the good, bad & ugly
http://pauldouglasforecast.blogspot.com/2010/02/snow-good-bad-ugly.html
Paul Douglas Updated Forecast. Friday, February 19, 2010. Snow: the good, bad and ugly. While young men and women from around the world celebrate the fun side of snow and ice in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics, we're reminded of the high cost of snow and ice (where it's not nearly as wanted and appreciated). From "Planalytics", a weather-intelligence company:. New York City estimates that it costs $1 million/inch to remove snow from the city's streets. Vancouver, British Columbia. 31 degree high in the...
