Mike and Katie: Eva's first day outdoors.
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014/05/evas-first-day-outdoors.html
Monday, May 5, 2014. Eva's first day outdoors. Three weeks old. Newborness disappears three hours at a time. Day and night, the cycles of eat, burp, change and sleep guide our days and then all of a sudden, three weeks have gone by. And it's finally warm enough to spend some time outside! Julia is enjoying the outdoors more these days and is more independent when exploring and running around the yard. She seems to have forgotten what swinging feels like and doesn't like it any more. We are a Christian co...

Mike and Katie: Eva's Baptism
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014/05/evas-baptism.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. The girls remember Julia getting this "burp rag" at her baptism too. I think they have a better understanding of the meaning of getting a new white garment. That's when I knew they'd be a good choice for Julia's godparents. When Eva came along we thought we'd just continue the tradition of having repeat godparents. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mike and Katie: April 2014
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Bye-bye, belly button. At 7 days old, Rosie's belly button fell off. Yay! And she is so sleepy! I'm taking full advantage and taking lots of fun photos but it's a lot of work to make sure she stays awake long enough to get a full feeding. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Thankfully every one is feeling better but I still only let one girl in the bedroom with us at a time. Saturday, April 19, 2014. Almost Day Four- Eva Rose Marie Violet Patience. I really liked Eva Rose Marie but as the ...

Mike and Katie: Only a Mom of Seven...
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014/05/only-mom-of-seven.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. Only a Mom of Seven. I was comforted to see that she had gained more weight. She was up to 9 lbs. She didn't have a fever and her oxygen stats were fine. The doctor came in right away and listened while the nurse did her assessment so I wouldn't have to go through all the information again. So nice! Something must be wrong with her.". Every time before Baby is born I think, I totally know what Im doing - this will be a breeze (Yes, Im generally an optimist! May 1, 2014 at 8:47 PM.

Mike and Katie: Pine Trees
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014/05/pine-trees.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. I didn't get any pictures of the actually work being done, but here's how they rode back home after the final load got dumped. I loathe pine trees! They also clutter up your rain gutters, sit on your roof and detain ALL the moisture from Mother Nature has to offer and causes TONS of money in roof repairs! May 20, 2014 at 12:48 PM. Mike and Katie: November 2013
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 28, 2013. Cousin Party while the men are hunting. Fun Run/Walk on the trails at Tony's college. Amanda ran the walking course while Ana, Tali, Julia and I waited for them back at the college. After the race, Amanda decided to climb the rock wall outside the hall. Tony turned seventeen. Nearly impossible to get a decent picture of him. He likes to make silly faces. These are his cheese quesadillas. He makes them a lot! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Minnesota, United States.

Mike and Katie: One month Eva
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2014/05/one-month-eva.html
Friday, May 16, 2014. Ana practicing baby wearing. She figured out how to tie these babies on by herself. A significant milestone which means I don't have to wrap and unwrap her baby a dozen times an hour. She can do it herself. We had some great weather on the weekend and Mike and the girls spent most of the days outside. And then winter came back but we didn't let that stop us from getting outside. Quite frankly, the girls drive me bonkers in the house. We have to go outside. May 19, 2014 at 8:44 AM.

Mike and Katie: Elimination Communication
http://mikeandkatie1.blogspot.com/2007/10/elimination-communication.html
Friday, October 12, 2007. Have you ever seen those naked babies in developing countries and wondered about the mess? Elimination Communication is the name give to the system of knowing your baby so well that you know when they are going to eliminate and taking them to the toilet instead of letting them fill a diaper. When I read about this years ago, I wondered how it was possible but I was anxious to give it a try. Why on earth would I want to do such a thing? Labels: infant potty training. We are a Chr...
