The museum is open to the public Good Friday, Easter, May and Spring bank holiday weekends. There are regular openings during the main holiday period, normally Tuesday, Wednesday,Friday (special history craft afternoons available for children), Saturday and Sunday afternoons between 2pm and 4.30pm. However, the Museum is available for all local schools, groups and societies throughout the coming year. Regrettably because of the age and size of the building, the museum is not suitable for disabled persons.
