After having given up the hope of ever seeing a copy of Adam Badeau's The Vagabond,. It occured to me today (as I procrastinated from my history paper) to type his name and work into google (aren't I smart? Adam Badeau served in the Union army during the Civil War, and in the latter years of the War (I think 1864?
