Friday, June 8, 2012. Tomorrow—in about 8 hours, actually—I’ll be boarding a flight to Amsterdam, then to JFK. I really can’t believe it’s all ending. Real: speaking Italian, riding the bus, attending Italian university, working at an Italian business, spending time with great people and new, different people every day. I feel like a real Fiorentina. It doesn’t seem fair to just say that I studied. Abroad because I feel like I did a lot more than that. Thanks, Holy Cross! The view from my bedroom window.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. A Long Weekend on the Emerald Isle. A while back, Elizabeth and I were perusing the Ryanair website and saw an inexpensive flight to Dublin, so, perché no?
