Our Little Corner of the World. Wednesday, March 18, 2015. In our last day in Guilin we took a train to Shangrao. It was a sleeper train and we slept overnight. The train station was very crowded and there were a lot of people smoking. It was really really really unpleasant, and not very happy. Everybody seemed to be wearing grey or black, and most of the suitcases were black. Me on the other hand, I was wearing purple. Kristen, Mark, Miranda, and Phoebe. Our Little Corner of the World. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. At age 2, Phoebe can now make her own ponytail, with most of her hair pulled back, with up to four twists for a total of five loops. I can't believe it. Ends up, her teacher reveals that this ponytail making has been a big part of her "work" at Montessori school.
