The History of My Name | Leighislucky's Blog

Just another WordPress.com weblog. The History of My Name. Wow After I looked up the ratings on my name at www.behindthename.com. I was amazed that many of the ratings actually fit. They described my personality and how I see myself. The ratings described my name as: feminine, classic, natural, wholesome, refined, strange, a balance between serious and comical, and nerdy. I think this fits me really well. I never really thought that a name could carry all those characteristics. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The miniature moss pea is annoying to my taste buds. My mouth cannot stand to slide the squishy pea through its manipulative blanched teeth. The defiant a...My te...

The poetry we’ve read… | Dreamermaria's Blog
https://dreamermaria.wordpress.com/2009/02/03/the-poetry-weve-read
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Knights and the Middle Ages Multi-Text. The poetry we’ve read…. I have always been a fan of poetry. From simple, fun loving Shel Silverstein, to in-depth, soul-searching Christina Rosetti. Poetry can take you to a place where you have no worries or it can open your eyes to things you have never even thought of. I think having a rich amount of poetry in the classroom can help student relax, express themselves, and use higher level thinking. This is Just to Say. I believe...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Knights and the Middle Ages Multi-Text. I Poem on Blackbeard…. I am despicably cruel and me crew is dreadfully mean. I wonder how people can be kind, those scallywags are too clean! I hear the cackle of pirates long lost or long dead. I see myself with those pirates, but I’m standing with no head. I want to steal and hoard treasure, It’s all mine! I am despicably cruel and me crew is dreadfully mean. I pretend I have diamonds and jeweled rings of red and green. Address ...

Response to Poetry Books. February 4, 2009 at 2:34 am ( Uncategorized. I saw the viewpoints of some children who may not like poetry to begin with. For example, the boy in the book had the idea that only girls wrote poetry. (p.1) He thought that a poem could be just short lines, and he is right! Jack’s poem, “My Sky” touched my warm heart.
