Sunday, June 12, 2011. Sumo is Japan's national sport, and has been around for about 2000 years. Today, only a handful of public schools in Japan have sumo rings in addition to baseball fields, basketball courts, and even Japanese archery pitches. It seems like many schools that do have sumo rings are located in the more rural areas of Japan. So that brings us to foreigner sumo. Once a year, the Akita AJET Association. June 5, 2011. Akita Budokan (2.5 hours by car from Morioka). Do we need a reason?

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. A second live music map. The first map was created just from the Google Maps page. Today, we learned how to create maps using ZeeMaps. ZeeMaps uses a .csv file (an industry-standard spreadsheet file) to import addresses. You can also indicate colors, photos, videos and notes. I, obviously, did not do this.
